Is there anything Jeff Bezos doesn't want to dominate? NO!
On Monday, Amazon announced a handcrafted gifts section, directly targeting the popular e-commerce known for selling arts and crafts, Etsy. And shares of Etsy has fallen more than 4 percent. Amazon Handmade Gift Shop features gifts like artisan jewelry, personalized flasks, coffee mugs and handmade toys; basically, any quirky things are selling on Etsy are now on Amazon. Although Amazon launched Handmade back in October 2015, it hasn't seen much of a success (Etsy still dominates in the art division, oh well, who cares? Amazon is loaded), coming out now for the second round of attack coincidently before the holiday seasons...again.
Either way, Amazon is still busy disrupting the world of retail, media and other fields simultaneously, it's definitely hungry for more dominance in every area possible. Rumors still suggesting that Amazon is looking to start selling prescription drugs and their own delivery service.
