U.S. Justice Department Seized Largest Dark Web Marketplace

AlphaBay, the largest marketplace on the so-called dark web, which mostly sells illegal drugs, fire arms, fake identifications and counterfeit goods was seized by the U.S. Justice Department as well as millions in the digital currency.

The owner of the site, Alexandre Cazes, was arrested in Thailand. While in Thai custody a week later, Cazes died due to an apparent suicide.
