Yes that's right, that's a freaking computer with dual-core i5 and 8 GB of RAM selling for $2,000
Last time a i5 that has a dual-core was back in 2010!
Also, when a computer that cost up to $2,000, people expects at least 16 GB of RAM, not a 8GB. And what annoys me more is that better RAMs doesn't even cost much more.
Besides that, you may argue the SSD is expansive, I agree. For 500GB, it costs $315
All the expansive components added up, it's only $510
All the prices are from Amazon.com, the parts are all after-market, so a company like Apple sell mass-produced computers, it is most likely to be much cheaper than $510.
This is clearly unacceptable.
